Improving the quality of life for all children with diabetes as well as providing the necessary support for their families.

The Dia Bear Club is a non-profit organization especially for children with diabetes. The Club was started in 1991 and over the years has helped many children and their families to adjust to a life with diabetes and live healthy, normal lives. We have held camps, hosted diabetes open days and visited schools to help educate the public on diabetes. Many of our early members have now raised families and live healthy, normal lives.

Our aim is to improve their quality of life for all children with diabetes as well as to provide their parents, teachers & other care-givers with the necessary information and support needed.

We have a CD that contains a lot of information on diabetes and also explains diabetes to children in comic book form. Please contact us should you wish to receive a copy of this CD.

The illustrations on this page are all from the Dia Bear CD.
